The performance of powder coating on a metallic surface mainly depends on the proper pre-treatment of the substrate. Mechanical and chemical surface preparations are used in HOT. Abrasive and non abrasive blasting are applied for mechanical surface preparation and there is a new pre-treatment plant for chemical pre-treatment. The new per-treatment plant is from the Noppel Company.
It should not only take in parts with a length of 6.5m but also show the following functions:
- Degreasing
- Pickling
- Aluminum, steel
- Galvanized steel and special white rust pickling
- Passivating and (VE-) rinse
In the pre-treatment it is possible to order of 12 different baths in a small area.This baths has different pre-treatment functions and different used chemistry. The surface of the substrate is treated with the appropriate aqueous medium by each active treatment baths. This gives the product exactly the pre-treatment which is needed for desired Quality
